Barbara Lawrence has a rich, and well-seasoned background of over
10 years working as a computer artist. She designed and created background
illustrations for many of Brøderbund's software titles such as
the renowned Carmen San Diego series, The Living Books "Arthur" series,
Kid Pix Studio, Print Shop, and numerous others. Today she continues
to design high quality images for a variety of multimedia and commercial
purposes to include package design, books and magazines, software
and web pages, interactive books, games, and educational software.
"When I first sat down at a computer, I knew immediately that
my life would never be the same. It felt so powerful to just hit a
button and wham! the sunset was purple instead of orange. Now I use
my computer like any other paint medium. It's an extremely flexible
