"Southwest Symphony" depicts the wide open landscapes, as well as the wildlife and activities of the American Southwest. Set to the music of classical composers such as Bartok, Copland, Debussy, Sibelius, Dvorak and Holst, this is the first of my Symphony programs to include human activity. In addition to scenics and wildlife, "Southwest Symphony" includes sequences with cowboys, hang gliding and Colorado River rafting, to name a few. As with my other Symphony programs, great care was taken to match the action of the images to each phrase of the music. To produce "Southwest Symphony" I was hired by Phoenix Public Television Station KAET who partnered with member stations in Denver, Salt Lake City and Tucson. Footage from these stations' film and video libraries was edited to music provided by Naxos of America.

"Southwest Symphony" is my fourth music program to appear on PBS. In addition to my music programs, I produce film, video and multimedia for business, education and entertainment.
